Organic isn't Healthy. It's just Basic.

September 3, 2017

There will never be a more important time to take your food seriously than when you've been told that you or your child are fighting to survive.

With the rise and fall in diet trends coming and going so quickly, it's easy to think that the "organic" industry is a trend unto itself. With the price difference between the organic and the more affordable foods, it's obvious why the majority of Americans have the belief that there is something special and fancy about "organic".

There's not.

To the contrary, it is the only food that ever fed the human race for thousands of years until just after the turn of the 20th century when companies began to package food! They had to make it easier to grow, shelf-stable, cheap, and convenient, which led to the steady decline of our collective health as we knew it. The only thing special about organic food is that it has real ingredients as oppose to poisonous ones.

If what you are eating is NOT organic, it is:

straight-up

disease-contributing

chemical crap

...with just the right combo of fat, sugar, and salt

that makes the consumer crave it and come back for more.

98%  of food sold in the typical grocery store is filled with toxins that are unrecognizable to the body. If that weren't bad enough, it's also completely void of the essential nutrients necessary for healthy cell production! It has absolutely no place in anyone's diet, much less a child fighting a chronic disease.

Organic does not equal healthy. It just means it's not poisonous.

Let's start here, shall we?

"Don't eat anything your grandmother

wouldn't recognize as food!"

-Michael Pollan

More to come this month.

My go-to for everything.
